Sometime before summer I will have a b20vtec swap in my CRX. I need to figure out which trannsmissions I can use. From what I understand all the Integra transmissions are hydraulic and require running lines or something that I have no idea about. So I guess I'm looking for a cable unless someone convinces and shows me its not that hard to install a hydraulic. I was originally wanting to use the GSR tranny, is there a cable tranny equivalent?

I thought the first GSR's had a cable trans(92 or 93, I think......the one that had the b17a)

 

Ah, you're right. I forgot about that one. Those have the code YS1, right? I think I'll be keeping an eye out for one then. Thanks.

 

get the JDM S1 tranny, nice tight gearing.... lotsa fun

Mazmay has one on his B20'd CRX and loves it.

 

JDM YS1, with LSD....not really all that hard to locate either...notourious BPG has it on his DA teg (b20b swap)...it simply rips, compared to Y1 LSD...its like night and day..
