Car wont start, and when I hit the brake pedal the fuel pump re-primes
My car started fine until yesterday. I had to put a power inverter in so I could power my datalogging laptop, but it just plugs into the cigarett lighter. After installing this it started fine and I ran some errands, but then later that night I gave the cigarette lighter a direct battery source (so it wouldnt shut the laptop off when starting the car) and I tapped it into the white wire that goes to the underhood fuse box.
Upon trying to start it, all the lights in the car randomly dimmed (this is with the inverter UNPLUGGED!) and the main relay would click super fast and the motor would try to crank like 10 times a second but never get anywhere close to actually turning the motor over.
I also noticed that my CD player doesnt turn off until about 10 seconds after I totally remove the key from the ignition, and also that when I tap the brake pedal, everything in the car resets just like when you turn the car to the ON position.
I'm gonna go **** with it right now, but does anyone have any ideas? I know it isnt the main relay because the car wont crank even a single revolution.

It is right now, all I did was tap one wire
