You will need to drill the lock from inside the door panel to trip the latch, then you can replace the latch assy. There is a Honda service bulletin that describes this.

This pic will show you the "sweet spot". After you go thru the first layer, change the drill angle to about 20 degrees downward, keep your shoulder pushing the door. Don't drill too deep or you'll go thru into the door post. Say a prayer to the Yamada Bird before you start, put your rabbits foot around your neck, and a 4 leaf clover in your top pocket.
Sometimes you have to wiggle the drill it up and down to try and trip the latch. Best of luck I hope this helps you.

I actually just did this repair yesterday. It's not as bad as it seems, just really hard to get to. Basically, I removed the door panel from the bottom (I've heard some people prefer to remove the seat to allow more space, but I didn't), then drilled the lock a few times until I got it right (be sure you push against the door when trying to open... it won't "pop" by itself), then removed the old part via 3 screws on the side. After that, simply install the new/used part. I got my latch used from a junkyard for $60.
This repair would cost over $500 at the dealership. (The new part is $260!)
If you need more info, let me know. Like I said before, it's not as hard as it seems.
Good Luck!
