Default Chip/Module for GSR

Hey everyone,

I have a 94 GSR with a few modifications (intake, exhuast, header, Radiator, Clutch) and I wanted to look into buying a chip or module (are they the same thing). I did hear of the Venom 400 Control Module and claims to increase horsepower by 25%. I also was looking at the Jet Chip. Which one would be better for the GSR???

I wouldnt use either of those, especially the venom 400, probabaly the biggest waste of money... I would suggest looking into an apex'i VAFC, or even hondata and do some tuning. Or even just get a decent chipped ecu, and not one of the $15 ebay chips...

stay away from ebay chips, you just can't be sure what you are getting

dont waste your money on chips and the vafc, there is only so much that you can do with that. go with hondata, its worth every penny that you pay for it!!

since you only have bolt ons, I personally would wait off on the whole chipping thing. I tell this to many of my customers who are interested in having a chipped ecu with their set up, but I dont recommend it for people with such little mods. Its really only beneficialy if your running itr/or some agressive cams, higher compression, a skunk2 or jg manifold for damn sure, etc. The more you mod, the more a chipped ecu would be beneficial. PM me if you have any questions
