What motor mount is this from?
I was in the middle of swapping engines in my hatch. I traded someone straight up for a 60k Z6 for the 100k Y8 i was currently running. I thought that they had the Y8 motor mount in the car at the time but when I went to the junkyard to grab the EG motor mount they were the same. I checked my CRX motor mount and its different also, so I'm wondering if this came out of a del sol possibly or what?
Here are a couple of pics to clarify
This is of the mounts

This is of the old mount that was in it, which is also identical to the mount i found in the junkyard EG

Thx for the help

If you examine the pics there is no way the motor mount will fit. The spacing between the holes is too wide for the two studs on the motor mount. If you also examine the block-mounted mount, it has 3 mounting spots-two that the nuts go on, and one that the bolt goes in through pointing downwardds
I know that if i replace the inner mount It will work but I am having a bitch time getting teh crank pulleys off, so if i can just find the correct mount, set it in there and bolt it on, i'd rather go that way
Unless anyone has any good ideas for getting the crank pulley off? I soaked it with PB Blaster and hit it with a 650lb impact in reverse and the bastard didnt budge

The mount that connects to the engine, you can remove that. Pull the one off your old z6 and use it.
If you dont have it anymore, i think i have a few extra in my garage. You pay shipping you can have it.

you will have to use your Y6 mount arm and mount, and trim back the timming cover. its been discussed here in the boards recently. i think i read about it yesterday.

So is this an aftermarket mount or was it only offered in a certain year? I have access to several other EG's I havent checked out yet, so If you've got the years they came in I'll gladly check one of them out

Your description just confused me considering this motor is a Z6, and chassis is an EG. Why would I need to trim the timing cover for mount and engine that was built to be in my chassis?
I remember having to do this for my CRX when I Z6'd it, but dont understand why I'd need to do it here.

Well I just found a guy 5 miles from me that has what I need. He swapped his EX so he had the mounts just lying around. Anyone know WTF they chose to use two different type of mounts in the EG?
Here is a pic of what he is giving me
