need HELP with tranny removal
for all those guys out there that have done tranny's, i have a few problem:
1- how do you seperate the ball joint from the control arm on the passenger side?
2- how do you seperate the drive axle from the rotor and from the tranny on the passenger side? ( do i just pry with a screw driver)
3- do i need to remove the intermediate shaft or do i just pry it loose from the tranny when i pull the tranny apart from the block?
4- do i need to remove the driver's side drive axle?
5- there are 3 transmission bolt and 1 start bolt i believe. do i remove those only prior to dropping the tranny or does it not matter? do i need to remove anything so i can get reach these bolts easier?
6- how do i remove the shift rod from the tranny? i already removed the clip, but i can't remove the pin.
7- do i need to remove header? ( there's 2 bracket support that are blocked by the header. i dont know if i need to remove them to remove the flywheel cover)
8- what kind of fancy tool do i need to get? (ball joint remover, snap ring plier, crow bar, 4 sided square allen wrench... etc?)
anything else that is a known problem people run into that i did not state, please state it and how to go about it.
where can i get hondabond for less than the dealer's price of $18.00?
thanks everyone. its a long and boring thread. but help a bro in need!!

1. Bang the LCA with a big hammer, It comes out quick
2. ?
3. remove the intermediate shaft (3) bolts.
4. Remove both axles completely it is easier this way
5. There more than just 3 Transmission bolt i think there like 7 you dont have to remove the starter
6. you need a punch and hammer
Check C-speedracing.com for step by step picture.
And if your not sure what your doing don't do it. Good luck

1- i removed everything else instead. works the same way. still cant get the stupid LCS off the ball joint even after LCA is swinging around like a freaking sausage
2- stupid spindle nut is hella tite! used impact wrench and it didnt work. used a 3 feet breaker bar and it didnt work. gonna try using WD-40 and a hammer.
3- done
4- removed both rear stiffener and flywheel cover, but had to remove B pipe ( i think that's what it is called, the lower section of the stock header).
5- not there yet
6- tried the punch and its hella tite in there. is there any cheater way or tips to get it out?
