b18c1 into an EF9.. vtec wiring questions.
is there some sort of wire hacking I must do to the obd0 b16a distributor on my b18c in order to have vtec work? I am seeing seperate wire spliced onto the exsisting b16a distributor on my 91 ef leading to somewhere on the fender of the engine bay, what is the reason for this splicing?
The only 2 wires that I know that is connected to the distributor from the ECU is B10 (orange wire)>Crank angle sensor and B12 (White wire)>Crank angle sensor
*B10 was originally C1
*B12 was originally C2
Both wires had to be moved from its position when doing an MPFI swap
For the Vtec connection I believe there are only 4 wires that you need to add:
C8 (Wht)>Secondary O2
A8(Grn/Yel)>Vtec Solenoid
B5(Blu/Blk)>Vtec Oil Pressure
B19((Red/Blu)>Knock Sensor
