I know the obd0 b16a distributor doesn't fit the b18a at all but...
I wanted to test to see if my b16a dizzy was the reason my car wouldnt start so I tested it on my friends 90 rs integra. only the top bolt lined up so that I could bolt it down to the head. Anyway the integra wouldnt start so I'm assuming my cars dizzy definitely is bad but would there be a reason it wouldnt start if it had been in working condition? If I can get an answer on this I think I've pretty much figured out why my car wont start. Thanks.

So it should have at least started is what you're saying?

if you have spark, and it didnt start try rotating the distributor till it does.
ive used a obd0 b16a dizz on d16's and b18a's</TD></TR></TABLE>
How would you actually use the b16a dizzy on a b18a? it only bolts on the top and the sides wont even line up?
Anyway does anyone else wanna contribute? If the b16a dizzy was working the integra should have at least started correct?

1 of the legs will have to be cut off. the solenoid is in the way so thats the only way to fit it.
*edit* nvm the reason u arent able to line the bolts up properly is because the b16's legs are shorter so that the solenoid wont be a problem, the LS legs are longer because it doesent have to worry about something being in the way.
if u can atleat bolt it up so that it seals properly and cant really move it around u will be able to start it and if it doesent start, their is your problem.
refer to what i said at first if u wanna use integra distributor to get your car running again.

Thanks for your reply.. Yeah I know you can cut one of the legs off the intergra distributor but I'm not really trying to do that..
I was simply testing my b16a dizzy on the integra to see if my car wasn't starting due to the bad dizzy or something else.. since the integra didn't start i am assuming its a bad one but I can't know for sure... when you say at least bolt it up so that it seals properly.. you just mean make sure it is flush against the head right?

yeah exactly
hell my car even ran with the distributor kind of hanging...u could hear the teeth knockiing against the cam LOL. i freaked out but. but anyway if his car started with the LS distributor.... but not with your b16... if both are obd0 then yeah, ditch your dizzy for a new/used 1.
