I was told that i had to cross two wires for my car to start? And it would start without me pressing on the clutch pedal?

Ive got a 91 civic dx auto (gutted now)_, and am isntalling a b16a 5spd motor.

ANy help is greatly appreciated.

 

Do you still have the auto shifter wtih the wiring in the car? Iif so there is a gear slelect(?) switch. On the top of the plug are a pair of black/white whires, they look very beefy compaired to the other wires in the plug. Short these two togeather and try to crank it. It should work.

 

All the wring is still there, but nothing else, Ill give that a try thanks.
