S/T SWAYBAR KIT
I want my car to handle really good on corners or when going fast, I been thinking about the Suspension Techniques Anti-Sway Bar System, as the next upgrade to my suspension. I already have the blue tokikos and skunk2 coilovers, plus trust front strut bars (front, rear uper and rear lower bars)the car handles good it feels little stiff and I still want better handling. Any recommendations and advice? Have u experience the ST sway bars?
The S/T sway bars are great, but it might not fit with a lot of tie bars unless you make a spacer. I went with the Comptech tie bar, so I didn't have a problem, but since they don't make it anymore, you'll have to check to see if it fits. It definitely stiffens the car in the turns a lot... however, the rear bar is still a little smaller in diameter than a Type R bar. The main thing that is holding back your suspension, however, are the Tokiko Blue shocks. I used to have those, but have since invested in a ZEAL B6 coilover setup which has excellent dampers. This made a world of difference. The Tokikos do not have the dampening ability to handle the stiffer springs that you are probably running. I would invest in some better shocks, then go for the S/T bars. This is just my advice. Maybe some adjustable KONIs would be a good choice. Here is a picture of my setup before I installed the ZEALs.
Looks nice I can see the tokicos there thanks for the advice I will now think about replacing this shocks
Anybody using the ST's have pics? how does your car handle?

Yeah, that sway bar pictured is the ST bar. I have a front one too. They are definitely a nice modification... However, after you get new shocks you should see how the cars rides and if you like it. If you want a tad more oversteer for autocrossing or racing, you should probably go with a thicker rear sway bar than the ST (which is 19mm). The Type R one is a good bet at 22mm. The only thing with larger rear sway bars is that the rear comes out more easily (which is what you want on the track), but is potentially dangerous on the street when the traction is poor (rain, gravel etc). Your car could more easily be put into a spin. That is one reason I decided on the ST bars. Another thing to note about the ST bars, is that they attach up to the suspension slightly differently. The ST rear bars have a couple fewer bends in them than normal bars. Study some pictures and you will know what I mean. Hope that helps.
