when i was doing my mpfi wiring, i noticed that the color of the wires for my eacv were switched between my DX harness and the plug that was in the intake manifold.. i wired color for color, which means i can only asume that now my EACV is wired backward..

would this keep the engine from turning over ?

 

nope...i wired mine color for color too...most of the probs come from the wiring on the distributor...esp since ur car isnt starting....the two white wires on the distributor always gets switched on accident...check that out...

 

i've switched the white wires.. tried again.. switched around the vac hoses, tried again, switched the white wires back.. tried again..



i've decided it's time to congratulate myself for it being back in one piece and for having compression, fuel, and spark..

and to drink lots of beer and worry about it tomorrow.. heh
