Default installing new rotors

Hi. Does anyone know where I can find a good tutorial for replacing rotors for an accord (94-97). I don't have a chiltons or helms to help me, so the more detail the better. Thanks

The bearing, hub assy has to be removed....Are the rotors too thin to be resurfaced with an 'on car' lathe?

yeah the rotors are ancient in the back. probably the originals hah but yeah the back ones are thin as hell and the front ones could just use resurfacing.. but i figure ill buy 4 rotors and start fresh with new pads too.

Good luck. I had the same idea as you for my 96. Bought 4 new rotors and pads. Figured it looks simple enough. Expect every screw/bolt to be seized! What a pain in the a$$. After finishing the back, I was glad to pay $70 to have the front done by a mechanic.

search around and get new ones, they arent that expensive... Also do you want all the down time while you're getting them resurfaced.

If you plan on keeping your car, you might as well get a manual, it does wonders

Good man.

I would recommend buying a Helms manual or at least a Chilton's or Haynes. You'll need tools and some time. If you don't/won't have any of these, I would just take it to a mechanic and let them deal with it.
