Amps Turning On, But No BASS, Rcas Wrong? *DETAILED*
First Ill name off my system
2 Audiobahn AW1206T 12" subs inverted
2 Clarion DPX 1000.2 Amps bridged @ 2ohm
Blaupunkt CD50 Deck
So Im installing my stereo into my 2nd Crx today and I dont know whats going on.
The amps turn on fine during both ignition and when the car is on but Im getting no bass so I think the rca's arent transferring the signal or I didnt hook them up right
Coming off of my deck there is a harness with 4 rca style connectors with about 6 inches of wire between the connectors and the deck. I THINK 2 were black and 2 were grey, but I remember them being labelled LF/RF/RR/LR , both amps are getting there own set of RCAS because they dont have the 4 holes to connect them.
Are these wires Im talking about even supposed to be for the rcas? There was also a blue/white wire that I used for the remote and it turns the amps on so I thought for sure those were for the rcas because there in the same little clip
Any help appreciated, Im gonna stay home tonight to help hide some wires and be close to the computer so I can make any adjustments
thanks

Is the wires Im talking about deifnetley the RCA's though? BEcause thats the only thing I can think of being the rcas and the specs says 2 UAX impouts, meanins RCAS right?

it's a yellow clip with with all the rca's and remote-turn-on right?
it should only plug into one place and yeah it should be the right ones, --this will sound ignorant---you do have the rca's plugged into the input of the amp, and not the output right? -- don't mean to sound rude...

There is only and imput on the amps, liked there is only 1 set of red/yellow on each amp, there isnt a second set so you can connect them like Ive seen on some
Ill get a pic

Yeah, the red and white "red/yellow" should be your inputs, on the cd- it should be a yellow plug for the outputs, just watchout 'cuz that radio does have inputs which could be in rca form, but according to your spec sheet you have sub output, so make sure it's both on and turned up, should be a setting in the menu or audio section...... pics from the back of the radio might be helpful...
I probably just have everything wired wrong and mixed up
Is a certain color coming off the deck supposed to connect to a certain color on the deck? the then from the rcas to the amp?

MAYBE YOUR RADIO HAS SUBwoofer on 'off'
like my alpine did that to me i had the sub amp plugged in but no signal held down the eject button and it said 'subwoofer on' and BASS was alive!

Why the eject button? Hmm guess I gotta bust out the manual, never even thought about that myself
Doesnt seem to be a high dollar deck though so I dunno if it would have that feature

thats what my alpine uses to turn on and off the subwoofer
it would probably be different on oither decks
and my alpine has 3 outs one for sub, doubt yoiurs would have the feature if it only has 2 or one
