There are only two bolts holding the upper control arm in place. After those bolts are removed, the control arm slides right out. Press out the stock balljoints using a shop press, and install the new adjustable balljoints(camber kit). Its trivial, I dont see the issue here.
Also, the shop manual states to replace the control arm, because honda does not sell balljoints as a seperate piece; they come only with the control arm assembly.

yea its a stupid question, i know. the reason i didnt know what was going on was the arm was so covered with that cardirt junk that it looked like it was welded on.
i dont have a shop press, will a mallet and some patience work?

Ya, people have used the BFH(big fckn hammer) technique, and the balljoint does eventually pop out. Just hit the balljoint right dead on, you dont want to bend the control arm accidentally.
What I did was goto a local mechanic shop, and they pressed out the balljoints for $10 bux. Its not worth the effort. Autozone also rents out a balljoint press tool you can do with your hand(like a c-clamp with adapters).
good luck.
