Ya so I reversed out of my buddies driveway and as I start to leave he yells me down and tells me that my reverse light is still on. I pull over and play with the gears a bit (... 5 speed) the light stayed on while I was in all gears including neutral so finally I slipped it in and out off reverse a few times and the reverse light finally went off. But now I got no reverse light lol, none whatsoever. So I'm guessing I broke the switch that controls that light, Does anyone know what to do?

 

Check the switch on the tranny. Its on the top side towards the front of the car. I believe its really the only wire going to the tranny.

 

That's what I was gonna say, some faulty swith on the tranny or gearbox(whatever you automatic guys call those things).

 

Most likely the swicth is bad
Happened to me before the back up light wouldnt come on
pull out the switch and push in the button if it fells kinda stuck then replace it
I have one if you need one

 

Where the hell is this switch? I can't find it anywhere...?

On top of the tranny. It should have wires coming out of it.
