ok i've looked at a couple of different sites that have the bottom end gasket sets and none of them say which gaskets are included. All they have is a picture, and from the picture it's hard to tell which gaskets come with it. Does anybody know which gaskets come with the bottom end gasket set besides the oil pan gasket?

Most bottom end gasket kits include the following:

Oil pan gasket
Oil pickup gasket
Rear main seal
Oil Filter housing gasket
various o-rings.

I haven't seen an H23 bottom-end kit, but it should be close to what I described. The most inportant gaskets on the Prelude that should be changed when doing a bottom-end rebuild are the rear main seal, front main seal, balance shaft seal, oil pan gasket and oil pickup gasket.

Actually, I don't think the oil pickup uses a gasket.

But yeah, those are about the most important gaskets. IIRC, Autozone and Napa sell gasket kits for the Prelude, but I'm not sure if they have a bottom end kit....

 

Yes, the oil pickup does have a gasket. The part number is 15221-PT0-000
