once i start the car and the needle begins to decend the car just dies.

i changed the iacv but that didnt solve the problem

any ideas?

 

need more info. what does it sound like? what do the gauges read?

 

If your fuel pump isn't priming then it sounds like your PGM-FI main relay.

I know this one.. But I can't remember exactly what's wrong.. I'd start by holding the pedal down a little while starting and see if the car dies after it starts. If it doesn't die anymore, clean out your throttle body..
