Tracking OLD re010's
I'm trying to convince a young guy in my neighborhood to bring his Accord to a hpccc to experience a driver's school. It won't be easy for him to come up with entry fee plus decent brake pads and tires, so I was going to give him my old re010's. They've got enough tread left on them, BUT they've been sitting in my garage for 3-4 years and they feel pretty petrified. Will they be too hard to use at the track, or will he be better off driving on his generic all-season tires?
Hey Jim, if the side walls aren't cracked I think they will be fine. After they have been driven on they should soften up some.
