I noticed that too; but a guy from Thailand (Wai from Nick Racing) told me that Mugen made cams for circuit racing use. Anyone else hear this?

I heard a long time ago Mugen didn't make cams for some reason but I can't seem to remember the reason

 

 

I got the link from a guy that is selling Toda C's and springs on another website. They are apparently Mugen Group A cams - and yes they do have the lube holes on the lobes.

The C's are in the other pictures and laid alongside the Mugen's for comparisons sake. The picture quality isn't the greatest.

Actually Toda makes racing cams for both SpoonSports and Mugen. So normally you wouldn't be able to get these cams. My supplier said there only sold to racing teams and they can be special ordered from Toda of Japan. There special made cams for racing conditions dictated by the class it's in. I believe there only so much they can do to cams in certain cars so they can't not get overall advantage just like how racing series here have to use air restrictors to lower the power to make the other race car more competitive. Also Toda will do custom cams but they list no pricing on them. My supplier said if you have to ask about pricing then you probably don't have the money to buy them and have them to R&D on them for you. Plus they normally want a demo or spare car so they can test and track it for you as well for best results. Plus it be best to have the driver there so they can drive the car and say if it's good or not or needs improved power in certain parts of power band. So you can see why no price is not listed..plus its norm they end up doing the rest of the engine as package deal as well. Very few teams do there own...most is outsourced.
