Default Too good to be true?

Just picked up the latest edition of Cycle Trader, and found the following:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Cycle Trader &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
1997 Honda CBR600F3, light plastic damage, runs & drives, only 5k miles, priced to sell, $2,495, rebuildable, Cycle Recyclers </TD></TR></TABLE>

now... is 'rebuildable' the operative word? they didnt mention any mechanical problems. is that 2500 dollar price tag way low?

i'm thinking i'll call to see what needs to be replaced.

I believe the "rebuildable" term refers to the title of the bike. Some come with clean titles, some with salvage. Rebuildable means that the bike can be fixed and retitled with a "clear" title.

Salvaged is a write off - you can stil purchase and re-title a salvage vehicle.

Rebuildable - that just opens a door of opportunity.

What's rebuildable to them prolly isn't to most people (at least not economically).
