96 Accord brakes?
Just bought a 96 Accord LX. Car kinda shakes and the wheel vibrates when braking. Could this be the rotors, brakes themselves, or what?
Also, anyone framiliar on how to go about making a non-vtec, a vtec.?
1 more thing. Your opinions. Cross drilled rotors, slotted rotors, or crossdrilled and slotted rotors. Advantages and disadvantages to any of these?

well there are various different theories behind this...some say it's warped rotors, while others say that it's uneven pad wear...regardless, both need replaced...

for the street, you really aren't going to notice any difference with these kinds of rotors...the reason for this style of rotor is to dissapate heat faster in roadcourse style racing where you are heavy on the brakes often....also, most of these styles of rotors aren't made correctly and often crack where the drills or slots have been machined in...a good cross drilled or slotted rotor is cast into that particular style from the start, and not machined at all....
if you are looking for a brake upgrade, you should check out the legend 2 piston calliper swap...for the price, you can't beat it....you upgrade the rotors to the 11.2 inch accord v6 (95-97) rotors and the larger callipers....it's a great setup and vast improvement over stock with the right pads...here's the details on that swap...
