DGibb's Prep for Paint Log (6/18/2004)
From this:

To this:
You know you detail your car too much when you are sanding it down for new paint and you constantly smell the auroma of glaze and wax. I finished the entire car down with a wetsand of 1500 and the whole time I'm like, "Mmm, smells fruity!"
Guess I really should have washed the car down with dawn to strip the wax away. Oh well.

Just FYI sort of thing, for those who havent been keeping up, the car is getting a new paint job of "New Formula Red" (keeping it Honda colored with a NSX/S2000 color).
Whats being done:
- Badging holes & side molding holes welded.
- Type R Rear Wing
- Type R Front Lip
- Azect Rear Lip
- Azect Side Skirts (or possibly something else, but not sure...)
- Red Acura "A" Badges (yes I know the original holes welded up, this way I can go shaved if I want by just removing the new badge)
- JDM RSX "Integra" Badge on the Rear.

Very Very Very nice. I applaud your efforts... and want to see updates as soon as possible!

It should be getting sprayed at the beginning of August. Im just waiting for some more parts to come in.
The interior is going to be matching the exterior as well. Im getting the gauge beazel and climate control trim color color matched (nothing but those two items) and them some black/red seats. Then Im basically done with the show portion of my car. Im not really into big bodykits or audio systems. I just like to have good upkeep on my car (aka detailing).
After that its smooth sailing from there. "Psshhh! Psssh!"
