Anyone bought RE-010's from tirerack in the past month?
I bought two pairs of RE's from tirerack this winter and both sets came looking like ****. Both sets were had an abundance of cracks and they def. didn't look like brand new 500 dollar tires. It's about that time again and wondering if anyone on here has ordered the RE's from tirerack recently?? What type of condition did they arrive in?? I don't want to purchase from them, but I have no other choice (live out in the middle of nowhere
) TIA
) TIA
just bought some that arrived last week. i check them over closely (due to your previous posts about it) and they're fine. on the car now!

Hopefully it was just a fluke, but it sure has left a sour taste in my mouth. Not sure what to think of tirerack, I'll guess the third time's a charm

i think you'll be ok, my tires are great. here, check 'em out https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=898859
i'm excited to get down to 2/3-1/2 tread and lose the tread squirm. i had 205/50 bald azenis on 15x7 wheels and really lost very little steering response with the re010 due to the squirm. i can tell the re010 will feel much better than the azenis.

Yours look a lot better than the BS that was sent to me. I've got my Credit Card in hand and I guess I'll give them one more shot. What shipping company did you choose? UPS or Fedex?

Tire Rack uses UPS for ground shipments, and FedEx for air shipments. That is why UPS is the cheaper one at the Tire Rack.
However, UPS is not necessarily the cheaper one at other places. FedEx Ground is often cheaper than UPS Ground. I don't know how FedEx air compares with UPS air.

I just ordered and installed a set last month - they were perfect (and delivered via UPS)...

Maybe you got a bad set? I would call thier customer service and complain - they should be perfect...
