Default 90-91 front lip on 89 front bumper.

I just picked this lip up about a week or so ago for a 90-91 front bumper. Now I was pretty sure I could get this to work w/o using all the Honda mounting pieces. Well, I was half right.

Here's 3 pics showing you the fitment. Its close, close enough that most people wont notice at all.

But you can see the the sides, where it wraps around to the fender arch, that it dips into the bumper a bit. Oh well. I can live with it.

I used about 40+ screws to mount it. Ive bottomed it out on a driveway once so far, and got a couple of scrapes on the bottom. Other than that, nothing, and it didnt fall off.

my lip looks just like yours.. I wonder if its a 90-91. Have to look closer. Anyways I think yours looks good

I found a guy who had crashed his rex in the front and was selling the whole car for a couple hundred. I offered to buy the lip for $20. I'm sure he had never even noticed that his car had the valuable front spoiler. Resprayed it with trip paint and its good as new

I picked it up for $55 CDN all said and done. I believe it retails for about $70 plus tax though.

Thers no hurting in trying.

If you have one, or can get one cheap, Im sure you can make it fit w/ a little cutting and a little bending.

TIP: To retrofit a lip, a heatgun is your best friend. Really aids in the bending process.
