Default How Do You Loosen The Nut on Top of Buddy Club Coilovers

I'm sitting here hella frustrated 'cause I can't loosen the nut on top of my Buddy Club Racing Spec Coilovers ('04 S2000).

Has anyone put these in before? Do u guys know how to loosen this nut?

It's the one u have to take off to put the pillow ball mounts on.

I tried to hold the top little **** thing (stiffness adjustor thing) with an 8mm wrench and it didn't work.

I also looked to see if the nut on the bottom of the coilovers twists, and it doesn't. I couldn't find a way to loosen this nut.

Am I gonna have to use an impact gun/air compressor to do this? I hope not... there has to be a way.

Thanks.

use a open-end wrench, and an alan key that fits properly, hold the wrench in place, and then twist the alan key to the left. you might need 2 people for this.
