Default Thanks to those who helped in my search for a car for my daughter.

We didn't end up getting her an Integra, but instead opted for a '98 Accord Coupe.

mine = Cayenne Red Pearl 1999 Acura Integra GS, 60,900
hers = Taffeta White 1998 Honda Accord EX Coupe V6, 61,400

Here goes...

I didn't buy it for her, my parents did. They gave me my first car, but it was a horrible POS. They've given cars to my brother and sister as well, but none of us got anything this nice. They didn't like the idea of sending her to college driving a 1992 Ford Explorer w/125k.

You didn't go to school in Rochester, did you?

My dad got his doctorate there (U of Rochester) and took a teaching position at FSU in 1972. We've been here ever since. He's still teaching and I have worked for FSU for the past 18 years.

It's hotter than hell here... and we're not close enough to the coast to get any cool breeze off the water.
