Just wondering if anyone knows the crx's top speed?

In my 1990 I've made it to 121MPH stock.

 

Gone about 15 seconds above 200km/hour, my tach is in km/h, so I topped 200 and went on for another 15 or so seconds, forget what rpm in 5th I was, maybe 6000-6200

On the bottle I dont know

 

i've been to 145mph with my 90 crx with a ZC

 

135 stock zc I won't do it again unless I'm more protected though.

 

I was under the impression the ZC ECU ( i don't know if you were using it) had a speed governer set to 115 mph...i had a top speed of like 130 right after i changed my plugs and wires...it was a nice little run

 

I was running the stock si ECU.

So do you have the ZC ecu?

 

i dont know how fast ive gone in my crx im pretty sure it was over 130mph. my speedometer stops at 120mph but im still going thats only when im in 4th gear around 6000 rpm and i still got my 5th gear. my car is all stock. d16a6 with no performance products on it.

 

back when i first got my b16a swap i didnt have a speedo cable so the speedo didnt work but i was in 5th at 7500 rpm's

I hit the hard stop on speedo in my 89 crx si and still had 500 rpm to go before red line.

 

ive had mine approx at 125. i wont ever do it again. this was not a crx si tho, it was on my modified dx hatch, with new 13" tires. it was very stupid of me

What tires are you doing this on?

I did my top speed run on Azenis so I knew they could take the heat and speed

But I met a guy who had a 91 or whatewver Z24 cavalier and he told me he went 140 with the tires I was looking at on the car, they were old and beaten and all cracked

I told him straight to his face he was a ******* moron for even attemptin breaking 60mph with those tires with his girlfriend in the car

 

My stock 1990 CRX Si that I used to have topped out at 128mph at redline. My stock 1990 Civic Si that I have now has been up to 125mph and it will probably do 128mph. I do not recommend trying to see how fast your car goes unless you are by yourself and on a long straight highway with nobody else on it, This way you do not risk anyones life but yours.

the fastest i went on a strightaway was 115 with a d16z6...i could of kept on going but i got scared cuz it was already too fast to me..haha...but my tach ends at 120 so if i go over that **** i dunno how fast...haha..

 

for a stock d16a6 i got a feeling it could go up to 150mph then the motor blows.. lol

140mph in a sohc zc vtec, running a pg7 ecu.

my stock dx motor hit a whopping 130.

 

i hit 110 in my stock hf... WOO HOO!!! and then my 13" wheels started to wobble and the car started shaking so i had to call it quits.... besides the fact that i was about to destroy the 4900 RPM redline.....

i used my gps to tell me my speed but my 1990 crx si with a b18c1 swap running 6psi on the turbo hits 50 in first 85 in second, 110 in third, 135 in fourth, haven't hit the top end of fifth yet, but 150 at 5200 rpm

 

What is a safe place to get t on a 91 si?
6500 rpm? or can I go a little higher, and how long can I stay there?
