92 Accord, Orange light popping up on dash
Alrighty, I've got a 92 Accord with no manual. On the dash, right below the tachometer there's this little square light that indicates when maintenance is required. Usually this light is green, but it has now since turned to orange. I've got no clue what that means and if anyone does, I'd appreciate the help. Oh yea, and I recently put on some oversized tires on the car. I'm not sure the exact size, they are on the original 14 in rims, but the tires are something 205's. They are brand new so I said what the hell, but I was just curious if those could be bad for the car. Appreciate it.
it's just a regular scheduled maintenance light that reminds you of your next "time to pay honda big bucks to replace unneeded ****" appointment...it is just there because you are at a certain mile interval that honda recomends something gets replaced (timing belt, thermostat or something of that nature)...in 5th gens there is a key hole in the bezel that will turn this back to green, but i'm not sure about 4th gens
i own a 93 accord, I was told to insert your key there everytime you change your oil. unless its somthing different...when you insert the key then it will turn back to green.. good luck...
