It will help if you have 2 people when puttin a gas tank but its not necessary. As for the fuel lines...there are 2 running from the filler neck....one is a thick hose and another is a smaller hose. Run your electrical plug and ground from the tank up undernearth the rear cargo box and ground it and plug it in to the fuel pump switch I think is what it is. I believe there are 3 other lines one is red, another one is a fuel line with a hard line on the end a and a banjo bolt that bolts on top of the tank. I think you wont have any problems with it because they can only hook up to one place. oh ya and use a jack undernearth the tank..it helps a lot
