factory speaker size
I have a 90 rs and wanted to know what the factory speaker size is. I am puting some new speakers in cuz all but one is apparently blown (bought it like that). Also, if yall could give me some good recommendations for some decent priced good speakers that will fit stock locations I'd appreciate it.
wow, lazy lazy lazy. https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch Learn it, know it, use it!
Front: 5 1/4, 6 1/2 Rear: 6 1/2

for ur information you dont always have to go by crutchfield. FOr instance in crutchfield if you select a G3 integra coupe for speakers they'll only give you the direct fit "shallow 6.5's. WHen in reality with few modifications you can fit almost all 5.5, 65. etc.

ok, I found info that differs from the size you gave for the gen 2's front speakers. I found that the fronts are 6 1/2 as well as the back. When measuring the speaker, what is measured? is it the actual cone diameter or the diameter of the speaker basket?

Speaker sizes are standard, and its the outer size of the basket. I put in a set on Infinity Kappa 6.5" 3 ways in the front of my 00 gsr, but I had to cut out the back of the plastic speaker holder, as well as slightly file the inside lip because my new speakers were shapped a little funny. I also used a set of foam speaker baffles to protect them in case any water got into the door. And, of course, Honda/Acura Speaker Harnesses are good if you don't want to cut wires.
Just be careful if you buy speaker that extend too far forward, 2 or 3 way speakers, that they will clear the door panel. My Kappa's are very large, and they clear the window by less than 1/2" and clear the door panel by less than 1/4", but they sound awsome with my 50x4 amp mounted under the passenger seat.
