Default help for non-techie- 97 Accord LX

I'm throwing myself on the mercy of the forum- I'm not a technical gal, but I love my Accord and am thinking of selling it due to this problem-

My 97 Accord LX takes on water when in rains. Driver's side back seat floorboard gets completely flooded. This occurs even when the car is parked in a driveway (not due to driving through flooded New Orleans streets). There is no visible water anywhere above the floorboard (no sign of leaks in/around windows, door, etc.) The Honda dealer and one independent car shop have not been able to find the source of the problem. (They ran a hose over the car for a while to try to recreate "rain")

Any ideas/hints?

I would be most appreciative of a solution!!

You could have a leak at, or around, the window(s) that is running down the inside of the door. I would pull off the door panel (its just held on with clips and 3m tape) and check for signs of water. Other than that I don't have any ideas.

I can tell you theres a drain pipe that runs down the panel between the back door and the rear window. then it goes down the quarter panel. It drains water off the top of the car. I had a problem simular to that and found the drain pipe came lose at the top of the car. I know of a really good mechanic in new orleans, he's my uncle I'm fixing to move there to work for him. If you go to http://www.KevsKars.com the web site has his phone number and address and tell him Brian in S.C. sent you, if you have any questions or comments you can email me at Hotrodaccord@aol. let me know if thats what it was. can't put but 5 up b/c of the trial thing but I have a service manual beside me all I did was look it up.
