Default b20 swap for prelude?

just wondering if the b20z from a cr-v is a worthwhile swap from the factory b21a1 in my 91 prelude. or if it will really work. i heard it just drops right in but ive also heard otherwise. or is it the other jdm b20 that works in the prelude. also, where would i get one for cheap? i need help.

The newer B series B20B/Z motors are nothing like the older Prelude B series motors. The newer B engines WILL NOT bolt into the Prelude without custom mounts, then of course you will need a newer B series tranny, ECU, etc. I'm pretty sure that Place Racing came out with an 88-91 Prelude B series mount kit so it is possible...
