i have done the swap. I did my d16z6 swap into my 89 dx hatch. I however did not convert to obd1, i just kept it obd0. The swap wasn't too bad, just a lot of wiring (DPFI - MPFI). If you need some help, i have lots of info on this swap.

yeah, i am definitely going to need help with my wiring. i am going to use the ecu from the engine and i bought an OBD0-OBD1 harness that goes from the 93 ecu to the 89 wires in the car, but the engine bay harness is what's going to kick my ***. so feel free to pm me or whatever it's called
thanks

only the driver seat, no bumper supports, no rear wiper or motor, no front wipers, no center console, no radio, no AC or components, eliminated emissions components, and looking for more stuff to take out

i'm just finishing up putting a D16A6 in a DX 4dr.. so minus the vtec it's *theoretically* the same swap..

if you have any 'specific' questions, let me know.. it's all fresh in my head since it's not 'quite' done yet..

(hopefully i'll have it done tomorrow, but i'm not in any big rush, either, so who knows.. heh)

i do have one question.......how much different is the engine bay harness? i have some wires in their from the '89 and i was going to try and find a diagram to see what would match up to the '93 engine.

if you look in the FAQ thread at the top of the CRX/EF Civic section, there's a really really long post with a ton of links in it.. there are 5 or 6 MPFI how-to's.. i got all my info from those.. wiring diagrams, ecu pinouts, what goes where, etc..

great great stuff..

I just did the swap into my 91 STD. Same swap, I converted to OBD-1 and I'm running a stock P28.

I am doing a 93 d15b7 swap into my 91 dx hatch. For the wiring , i just took an engine harness off a 91 d15 and am putting it on my 93. I am having a few problems with stuff that doesnt match up but luckily i have a few extra harnesses.(93 and 91) Deff put the harness on the engine before you drop it in , that was my mistake!
