Default Turbo on d15b?

I just ordered a JDM d15b with p08 ecu and conversion harness, i was thinking about doing a turbo for it, i looked at homemadeturbo.com and saw to ef's with d15b's and turbo on them. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on which turbo i should do to that motor wether its a t25 or whatever, but should i do it to this motor, i mean i cant get another motor because of money issues, and me and buddys have a shop where we can build most of the parts. Thanks for you help. And which fuel management system should i do if i go turbo?

ps. does anyone know any times for 1/4mile with d15b with and without turbo?

well, i would advise not to turbo a d15, the rods are really really narrow (about the size of your finger). However if you do decide to turbo your d15, i would use a t25 or 14b. Both turbos can be picked up for a fairly cheap price. I would suggest not buying a used turbo off of the internet though, people tend to sell shitty turbos on the net. If you have some questions, feel free to send me a pm.

the d15b vtec rods are one of the stoutest d-serires rods, no where near the size of your finger. look up eg6turbo on this board he's doing over 200 on his jdm d15b vtec.

Hmm, I have a DPFI D15B2 in my '89 DX.. Was looking to do something for some extra oomph. Mabye a MPFI conversion and a SOHC VTEC head in the future.

My buddy had an 89 civic and had a rev hard turbo on it. That t3-t4 turbo ******* killed any and everything until we tried to boost 14 and boom. Smoke smoke and more smoke. Becareful
