Someone broke my passenger side mirror while my car was parked at work, just glad that it was my only damage, the side mirror housing still looks intact, I am not sure if nothing broke with the motor that powers the mirror, just by looking at what's left inside the mirror housing, I know that part of the motor broke(1 out of three pegs seem to have broke)
just inquiring:
1. if anyone knows how much would this cost me brand new(ball park figure), do I have to buy a pair, or can I just purchase the motor for that side of the mirror
2. part number if anyone knows
3. lastly, if anyone knows someone who is willing to sell

I believe that you need to buy the whole housing, roughly 300 bucks new! Do a search, there was a topic like this the other day...

 

go on ebay... there are some used ones there with bids like $40 for the pair... might go much higher though

 

Thanks to both, one question, will the 94 and up integra mirror be the same, cuz I just plan to replace the motor including the mirror into my original housing, is this possible? at all, because if not, then there is another question of repainting.

are u sure the peg broke? as in snapped or cracked? or does it look like the back of the mirror popped out? try manipulating the motor or tell someone to do it and watch the pegs...if they still move around, and everything seems to be intact, all u ahve to do is give it a nice firm shove and it will click back in and ur in business...thanks to the dumbass deer who let me find that out

 

Well, the two small pegs are intact, and working, as I watched them moved while manipulating the control, but the middle peg seemed to me flat, no rounded tip like the other two, and it doesnt even move at all...

i dont think the middle one moves...i think it just acts as a point for pivoting and rotation...

 

That's the one that's flat, and seemed to be broken.

 

If the MIDDLE pivot is broken, that's it. you need another one. from the factory, one side is around $250. (paint or not painted I don't know). If the Center Pivot is ok, and the small side ones are out, try to push them back in, but they're are pain in the butt.

94-95 Mirrors are different from 96-01.
I have a pair of 94-95 at home. pretty good condition (green).

The factory mirror will cost you roughly $173.60, at least thats the price that comes on my system, and should come painted.

Thanks Guys, I got all my answers, at least now I know how much it would cost me brand new, and what mirror(years) would be the compatible if i decide to buy a use one. I really appreciate the help.
