I have an extra set of rims off a '92 Civic VX in ok shape. (some smaller scuffs) I just wanted to know how much they may be worth. I tried the search, but it doesn't index words 2 letters or smaller. I looked at car-part.com and they range from $100-$35. I think I'd ask about $50 for each. Does that sound about right?

Can you put vx wheels on the big brakes of the 99si and del sol VTEC models? I know HX wheels require some grinding to fit...

 

My vx rims sold for $230 on ebay.

 

I bought VX rims for my civic in very good shape (some minor scraches etc.) for 165 CDN or about 115 US$ for all four. They also came with some rubber on em (crap but something to get around for a while)

No actaully VX rims are smaller, 13'' vs the hx 14", you shouldnt of had to do any grinding with the HX rims, they fit nicely over my Full gsr brake conversion.

 

I haven't decided to sell them. I wanted to know how much they're worth. They're so light (9.5 lbs) I might put them on my daily driver. I wonder how much gas mileage I might gain...

Its not the wheels you need to grind, its the caliper.
