Default Si Exhaust questions.

It looks like I'm going to have to replace most of the exhaust system on my '93 Si. It looks like it will cost around $650 in just parts, assuming my O2 sensor doesn't need to be replaced. Is there a decent aftermarket cat back + header that would be around the same price? Does anyone have a stock exhaust in good shape laying around that they would like to part with?

I was in the same boat as you a year ago.

I decided to get a Carsound high flow cat and a Thermal Classic cat-back exhaust. I painted the canister flat black while leaving the tip chrome. Turned out really well and the sound is not annoying. In fact, at 60mph, it sounds stock.

I got my Thermal cat-back for $457 shipped and the cat for $105 shipped to me with the flanges already welded.
