I have a JDM H22! My question is can i run Turbo Camshafts on my motor without a turbo? i am buying a turbo but i want to get the camshafts first. will it be safe to run on turbo camshafts for a couple of months? thanks

 

As long as you have the valvetrain necessary to run those cams. Some turbo cams are fairly mild some have aggressive lift. But as far as running for while without a turbo you will be fine. You just might have decreased top-end horsepower but conversly you will probably have awesome low-end torque. What cams are you planning to run?

probably runnin Skunk2 or crower

 

i ran crowers, they feel like *** bad off the turbo...once the turbo on, damn they work good

 

Skunk 2 does not have the Turbo cams ready, Crowers are the only available right now.
