ok i bought it already. it looks like it is from a eg or ek dont know. anyways, i have a 91 civic hatch with b16. it has crush bent 2 1/4 tubing with a 20 inch resonator (glasspack muffler better said) i currently have a maxspeed muffler but do not like the high pich tone it has. will this trust mufler give me a deep sound? i just want basss baby! i know i should of asked before doing it but i can always sell it if it dont work for me. anybody ever done this? i know that the muffler is way shorter that the one form the kit for a ef but will it make a difference? i am guessing it wot cuz they sound fine on the other cars right? help will greatly be apreciated. thanks

Man get that piping mendrel bent 2 1/4" back. Go with some trusted companies for mufflers (they all are pretty much the same imo, all the n1 style ones). Mines a magnaflow and it hits pretty low when i let off the gas but when im on it its pretty silent.

My setup im running on my CRX:

Carsound Cat
Magnaflow 18" Resonator
Custom 2" Mendrel Bent
Magnaflow Universal Muffler 2" in/out

my friends 99 civic had the greddy sp exhaust, it has the best exhaust note that i have ever heard. really low and bassy. not loud at all, i wanted to get that sound on my crx, i heard the greddy sp for the crx, it didn't sound the same and i didn't want to spend so much money on a new exhaust system. i went with a custom style setup: 2 1/4" mandrel bent piping, hi-flow cat, 14" magnaflow resonator, and a Borla oval muffler (looks like stock crx).. my car doesn't sound exactly like my boys 99 civic with greddy exhaust, but to my suprize i like it better. it is a little bit louder at wide open throttle... it growls, but just as quiet while cruising.. deep sound to it too, i think the reason for the difference in sound is that he has stock cat, and stock header/exhaust manifold also longer piping maybe..

 

so it will sound nice then, basssssss baby???? not an anoying wuaaaaaaaa!!!! more like a woooooooo? what a dambass i am anywyas, anybody else?
