DIY Riveting Factory Door Sills to Carpet (for those replacing carpet)
looks pretty ghetto..i dont see why you rivited through the interior panel.. the thin plastic thing i can see. but not the outter part. i think just going through the inner trim piece would have held the carpet in fine since its shaped to the chassis and once the outter trim is snapped on the underside cant really go anywhere

OMFG... you have to be kidding me.
Do you know how the OEM carpet is installed? you see that white edge piece? that is already mounted on the carpet. That piece actually goes around the outer edge of your door. Then your OEM plastic door sills goes over it. Even if you did replace your carpet, you remove the white edge piece and staple it to the aftermarket carpet.

Either you love ghettofying your car or you're not bright.

wow, nice interior
I see where the idea for the rivets came in. Hopefully they can hold up to that shot of nitrous better than a diamond plate floorboard!!

Thieves mangled my underglow.. had to remove it. They cut all the wiring... yanked on one of the ends too hard, broke the tube, and I can assume at that point the alarm went off, and they took off running.</TD></TR></TABLE>
and for once in my life, when I read something like this I wont be saying "**** thieves"

opps forgot this was a civic. my diagram are like "most" cars.
you know there are tools you can do it just like the oem installation.
did you also know honda fucked up when they made those sills attached to the carpet?
