Default LS Clutch Cable vs. YS1 Clutch Cable... Same?

Okay my CRX has a YS1 tranny and the clutch cable is basically fucked... For the longest time it was rubbing against my Optima battery and I guess eventually some of the inside started breaking.
Now it has a give point at the begining of the pedal stroke, where its loose and floppy, and then suddenly really hard to push down, and it's insanely hard to pull out of gear. My friend told me it would be real bad for the tranny to drive like that so I should just not bother.

Well my car is sitting at my work right now and I really need to get a replacement clutch cable... I'm wondering if the 2nd Gen Integra LS/RS/GS Clutch cable would be a direct replacement?
