Anyone here ever had suspension rebuilt?
I have a 91 RS and the bushings are whacked in it. Both rear trailing arm bushings are munched. The suspension squeeks & it looks like the car sits at an angle.
It needs shocks all around, bushings, alignment & tie rods. The rear shocks I believe are dead. It has negative camber on both rear tires & its not lowered. The fronts are not even as close to as bad as the rear.
I am just wondering if anyone ever had their the bushings done all the way around & if you did, how much it run you just to get the bushings done? Trying to get an estimate so I know what is reasonable for the work.
I would like to do the shocks/springs (to lower it), bushings & alignment at the same time. I know its gonna cost an arm & a leg, but I dont want to do one without the rest.
Thanks!

Do you have enough knowledge to take the suspension apart? If so then you should be able to put it back together as well. Then you would only have to pay to get the bushings put in and have it aligned. That would cost way less. If you take it to a shop to have all the done its gonna cost ALOT. Figure $70-$100 an hour for like 8 hours plus parts. Maybe even more for labor.
The labor alone for all of that should be way in the hundreds. The best thing to do is to disassemble everything, and let the shop press in the new bushings and such. Then just reassemble everything, and take it to an alignment shop. That way you save lots of money, and learn how your entire suspension is put together.
I had no time to put in my polyurethane bushings, so I had Rage Performance do it. I had them do my Auto to Manual swap, great job. http://www.rageimports.com
