I just spent my life savings on a 2000 accord ex 5speed. I've been dreaming about this car over a year now and I finaly gots it. I just want a few opinions on the deal. I live in Cali but I drove all the way to Arizona for my baby, mainly because it was the only blue 5speed coupe accord I saw for sale in months, secondly because I only paid $9,500 for it.

What do you guys think?

 

Holy ****!!! $9500 for an 03 EX? Damn thats a ****** steal, my moms 99 EX blue books for more then that! Yea that's an awesome deal man, good luck with it. I'm tryin to get my mom to get a 7G also, they have really improved since the 6G, with the navigation (as an option) and they look like straight up luxury cars. Anyway good luck with it, any idea why it was so cheap? He could have gotten probably close to $20K for it.

yeah palm springs is hotttt. Today it was 110 degrees. I had to floor my car and rev up to 5000 in second to pas a crv today. I bet I loose at least 20 hp due to severe heat. A/c also slows me down quite a bit.
I'm planning to modify my car entirely, everything but breakes. I'm taking engine rebuild in college and I plan to build a motor. Do any of you know if I can keep my ac and power steering with an h22 swap? or, can I swap in a 3.2 off an acura type S, tranny and all? I am going to work the whole summer at circuit city, I'm getting 10 bucks an hour ant it will all go into my car.
I'm open to suggestions.

my suggestion is DO work on the brakes.

With the power youre going to be putting on it you should invest in something to slow it down, if not for your safety, for ours

 

well it is an ex so I hav abs and rear discs, besides I'll never make it fast enough to upgrate brakes.

 

might i suggest a turbo? and if you do get it really tuned well. you guys forgot that brakes dont slow you down, hazard signals do...
