Default clutch question

Just put a clutch in the hatch, motor is still out of the car, but when i move the lever up, and i mean yank on it, it moves like 3/4 of an inch, how far should it move normally. Maybe the bolts are torqued to much, and the fingers are pushed in to far on the Pressure Plate?

thanks
pat

I think you're worrying too much as well.

The likely hood of over torquing the 12mm bolts is aways there, because they only need like 9ft lbs, you wouldn't get the PP any closer by doing so.

The lever does not move that much, I'm not sure the exact distance it moves, but it's not great.
