Default USDM DC Crashed itno JDM DC...

Edit: 07-24-04 Got around to snapping some new pix of the car. All comments welcome, Pix of the finished car below the old pix

Edit: lol after reading the title it sounds like two cars got into an accident... lol but that isnt the case as you will see.

this was posted on the integra forum but i thought it should be here.

got into alittle crash about 3-4 weeks ago. took off both bumpers, fenders, gutted the inside. Went to pick up the jdm front end in boston last week; took about 8/9 hours to drive there and back, but well worth it. here are some pix of the car after everything. ill post some more when the car comes out of the shop.

EDIT: 6/14/04 finsihed putting on the jdm front end/ vis cf hood. Finished painting the fenders and both bumpers, now need to shave moldings sand down the car and re-spray everything. oh also need to spray the front jdm grill and put that on, forgot about that thing. lol ill post more pix when everythig is done.

thank you for all the good feedback,

the wreck was pretty nasty, i hydroplained into a middel divider while takeing a turn which usally should be no problem... but almost at the end of the turn there was a patch of water that my flk azen tires just couldnt handel and boom... it had just started raining most of the driver side all banged up... that would be how the rims got so torn apart.

i will keep the same look for awhile... alot of my well earned money will go into this repair. but after that i am looking to buy some new rims.

dont worry man, when your car comes out nice and minty, it will all be worth the wait. (but 6 months is along time... we did this in about... 2 weeks...)
and for those who are wondering, the shade of blue is dodge viper blue pearl.

ill keep you guys updated as the painting comes along, should be done by this sat
