I'm not going to read a whole story, but you can clearly see the reminents of bo's low side directly into the path of the white truck... rider error. Kinda looks like the other fellas just droped there bikes

edt: I read the story... jeeze.

That one guy on the hood wasn't even wearing a jacket. The other guys jacket is on the ground, and I see a bunch of Icon jackets which are pretty much useless. I've seen worse though, one time I was out in the canyon and some guy was hauling *** in the other direction wearing a tank top. I'll admit I dont wear a leather suit when I go out there but it's because I don't have one yet. But I always wear my textile riding pants and leather jacket out there.

Any bike can get you in trouble no matter what it is. An ex250 still had good acceleration. I always tell new people that ride with my group to ride your own ride. We'll do occasional stops so dont worry about getting left behind.

Holy ****,that is a prime example of riders who dont respect the bike's power and potential.I should show this to my friend that rides like a jackass even after 2 years, maybe this will wise him up some.

I have said this a MILLION times ... if ya want to go fast ... GO TO THE TRACK !!!

It's simple ... buy a beat up F2 ... tune the suspension, upgrade tires and brakes, add safety wire, remove coolant and lights, pass tech and a race class and have some real fun !!!

I've known guys that travel 9-10 hrs to go club racin'
I've known guys at the track that had a 'get off' at 90+mph and stood up and walked away ..... try that on the street hot shots

I'm not here to preach ... but ... there are too many unknown and bad variables to road racin' on public streets (especially in large groups ... were there is the potential to 'one up' each other)

Be safe on the streets (and look cool) ... Go fast on the track (and who cares what ya look like)

damn, that sucks for the group riders. The newbie had to screw up their day.

As for the gear, i think i'm about the only one around my area that wears a leather jacket/gloves. Everyone i see riding around only has a tshirt and helmet on...

that's a good attitude to have about group riding. A couple of my good friends have bikes, and when we go out, they ride as fast as they can whenever they can, and it sucks. It's really annoying riding with them. The thing is I could smoke any of them if I wanted, but I just don't feel comfortable riding like that on the streets. So I ride my own ride like you said. The only thing that sucks is they never wait for me. haha. Oh well. Bastards....they never ride with gear..."where's your helmet man?" "oh it's too hot out for that ****..."

Man that really sucks!!! The same thing happend to my group of freinds that I go riding with this weekend. Not nearly as bad though because noone got hurt except for the new kid riding with us. We where on a twisty road by my house that me and all my freinds reguarly ride on. Same thing, the new kid was trying to lead the pack and came up to a turn he was going way to fast for and slammed into a guard rail.
