Default Help Out the New Guy

Radley Acura in VA sold my Type R to this kid last week (for reference to my saga, see https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=896595). He's anxious to learn and willing to listen, so cut him a break if some obvious questions come up (you know who you are out there). Here's his first thread. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=896595

Here is my first tip man........get a garage for that thing if it doesnt have one already. I used to live in Towson and it will disappear if your not cautious of your surroundings. Welcome to the club though...... .

Lets put it this way, I paid under 20K for it. haha, i got it for a steal b/c when i first test drove it the idiots at the dealership messed around with the V-AFC and messed up the settings and that messed up the hondata. It was something with the vtec according to the dealer. But whatever, they didn't know **** about the car.

The biggest reason you got it for such a good deal is the "R" title due to the theft that can be blamed on the idiotic dealership. Had they not been so careless, they would have asked a hell of a lot more, so in that respect you lucked out.
