Radley Acura in VA sold my Type R to this kid last week (for reference to my saga, see https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=896595). He's anxious to learn and willing to listen, so cut him a break if some obvious questions come up (you know who you are out there). Here's his first thread. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=896595
Yea thanks alot guys, I am the one who bought the car. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated since I am just starting my reading and learning about engines and performance and all that good stuff.
Here is my first tip man........get a garage for that thing if it doesnt have one already. I used to live in Towson and it will disappear if your not cautious of your surroundings. Welcome to the club though......

It was something with the vtec according to the dealer. But whatever, they didn't know **** about the car.

The biggest reason you got it for such a good deal is the "R" title due to the theft that can be blamed on the idiotic dealership. Had they not been so careless, they would have asked a hell of a lot more, so in that respect you lucked out.
