Default Azenis wear-related question . . .

I have a set of azenis, 2 brand new(front) and 2 with about 10000mi on them(still plenty of tread). i plan on driving from phoenix, az to philly this summer. my question is will a cross country drive put a lot of wear on them, considering im going to be driving in a straight line for ~2400 miles each way? any input would be great, thanks.

I can't see it being THAT bad considering you are going on a long stretch of highway. Expect a lil wear though because it is a long drive. Also make sure your cooling system is up for that kind of drive. I would do a full service before a job like that. Flush the radiator and put in all new coolant. Oil and tranny fluid. Even change the plugs if you want. Just to minimize problems on such a long drive.

regaurdless if its a cross country trip you will still be putting 2400 miles on them. I am not sure but i think constant driving wears them down just a little faster than stop and go driving in town. If you think you can get another 5k on them then go for it, if not get some new tires before you head out.

i was thinkin that because im exerting almost no lateral g's on them, then they wouldnt be too affected by the mileage. thanks for the input, btw.
