I use my Shoei in all types of weather. It used to fog up a lot when I was at a standstill, but I now use a Fog City Fog Shield to prevent that from happening. When I'm moving, I haven't experienced any fogging issues.

Mine only fogs at a standstill on cold mornings. I have heard (haven't tried) that you can rub on some dishwashing detergent and that will keep it from fogging also. I just raise the shield when I stop.

FogCity inserts for eliminating fog, but not super great for riding at night because the aurora effect.

i have two rf1000s and they both fog up at a standstill
just crack the visor a smidge and its fine. when you're actually moving, it doesnt fog up even when closed.

I think pretty much all helmets fog up when you're not moving and it's cold outside. My RF-1000 does it, so does my HJC, so does my friends Arai.

I own a HJC Arai and a Shoei never realley had a problem with the Arai or Shoei RF1000 but have always had a for problem with my HJC i found out if u inhale through ur nose and out throught ur mouth directing the air with ur uper lip downward prevents this from happening and i'm one of those crazy kids from New england that rides year round no matter what kind of weather.... I just picked up a new RF1000 today i picked up the Black Duhammal 4 looks last with the Black and silver F4i.....

its only natural that ur visor (on any helmet) fog up when its down and cold outside.. but big deal.. just open it. or when u start moving it goes away.

I have a shoei RF900 and it fogs insanely. When I ride in the rain it is nearley impossibly to ride unless its flipped open. the best fitting helmet though
