My 93 accord has 2ndary butterflys (like gsr IM)
My f22 IM has a little gadget on there that works just like the 2ndary butterflys on my gsr IM. My question is. I have a 10th edition 93 accord meaning only EX/SE came with this IM. Can i just zip-tie it open?
when is it suppose to open up normally? what rpm?
does it work with vacume pressure or vacume pressure and electric readout by ecu?

It's opened by the ECU at 4k something rpms...
If you wanted it to be vac activated then you can take the vac hose that goes to the gold IAB diaprhagm and just hook that to an unused vac port on the back of the intake manifold and it'll open at 40-60%+ throttle...
or if you like losing a bit of torque you could ziptie it open if you wanted to do all that work and get new gaskets and whatnot...although I don't see what kinda benefits you think there are by having it open all the time... it opens at higher rpms anyways and closes at lower rpms to boost low end tq...
It's pretty commonly known info though about the F22A6's IAB's... search around a bit and you can find out all kinds of things about it... like the H23 plenum trick...
